Temporary, Full-time PotsdamRead Job Description InYour ResponsibilitiesTo strengthen our team at the flagship campuses in Potsdam, Germany, the following position is available immediately on a full-time basis. The RoleAs Student Life Coordinator you will be part of a team of five and will support the Student Support team by fielding general student enquiries by various communication channels and to provide general administrative assistance. Key Tasks And ResponsibilitiesIn this role your tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Being the first point of contact for our students on our campus in Potsdam.

This includes information about visas and student related residence permits (study purposes, working rights, post-graduate residence permit options), city registration, blocked bank accounts as well as health insurance). Supporting regular communication with students through various channels and as first point of contact at our Welcome Desk. Be actively involved in the registration process ensuring student visas are correct, checked and uploaded into the student database in a timely fashion. Informing and advising students on studying abroad through information sessions and individual advising. Maintenance of international educational cooperation. Issuing and following up official letters, templates and forms.

Answering emails promptly and professionally. Supporting students in their enrolment process on campus. Guiding students in their questions regarding the Gisma policies and procedures. Answering phone calls from students and providing assistance as needed. Performing other administrative duties as requested by our Line Manager Katja to support the seamless implementation and execution of processes. Your profileExperience in front-line customer service. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficiency in business correspondence with customers. Proficiency in MS Office suite. Fluency in written and spoken English and German. Knowledge of the Erasmus+ program is an advantage.
