Our Market Communication team ensures high-quality data flows between our renewable assets and the systems that depend on them. If you’re curious, collaborative and ready to learn, you’ll fit right in.” - Jeppe Foshammer, Senior Software Developer, Market Communication OperationsYour role You’ll join a small, dedicated development team of three software engineers working on systems that collect, validate, transform, and distribute electricity meter data for wind and solar assets. You’ll contribute directly to production code, gain hands-on experience with modern development practices, and collaborate closely with internal teams who rely on the data we deliver.This is a role designed for learning, growth, and becoming part of the team - not just a side job.What you’ll work on Develop and maintain software in our Market Communication platform (primarily backend-focused).Contribute to data pipelines that ingest and process meter data from external sources.Build and improve tools and automations used across trading, forecasting, and operations.Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment activities.Troubleshoot and analyze issues related to data delivery or system performance.Collaborate with neighboring teams to ensure they receive the right data at the right time.What you bring You are currently studying computer science, software engineering, data engineering, or a related field.Experience with C# / .NET.Interest in backend development, data processing, or distributed systems.Curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to learn from experienced developers.Ability to work independently while being part of a close, collaborative team.“You don’t need to know everything — we’ll help you grow.” – Anna Korsgård, previously student, now full time Software Developer, Market Communication OperationsWhat we offer 8–15 hours per week with flexibility during exam periods, holidays, and busy semesters.A fully integrated place in the team: real tasks, real mentorship, real impact.A modern office environment in central Aalborg — and the chance to work alongside colleagues through forecasting, trading, and operations.A role where you’ll see your software used daily in one of Europe’s fastest-growing energy trading environments.Opportunities to continue in a full-time role after graduation (if it’s a good match).Practical details Workplace: Primarily on-site at our new Aalborg office during normal working hours.Start date: As soon as possible.Application: Please submit your CV along with a short motivation.
