With over 30 years of expertise, we support students nationwide through flexible, accessible learning and a student-first approach.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Student Support Officer to join our team in Fortitude Valley, Bris. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and assistance to students, ensuring their academic journey is smooth and successful.Respond to student inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, offering guidance and solutions. Assist students with various administrative tasks, such as registration, course enrollment, and record maintenance. Serve as a liaison between students and faculty, facilitating effective communication and resolving any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Provide information and resources to students regarding academic policies, procedures, and support services. Collaborate with other departments and staff members to ensure seamless student support operations. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the student experience. QualificationsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with students and colleagues. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in using student information systems, databases, and relevant software applications. Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. Knowledge of academic policies and procedures (preferred). Familiarity with student support services and resources (preferred). Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Previous experience in a customer service or student support role. Experience working in an educational or academic setting (preferred).
