A Snapshot of Your DayAs a Student Worker in the Calibration Department at Siemens Gamesa, your day will involve ensuring the company’s master data is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date according to global process demands. You will gain hands-on experience with data management in a large organization and learn how structured data supports business operations across departments. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for your own tasks and projects.As the requests in our department have expanded, we are now looking for a Student Worker who will take ownership of a project focusing on organizing and categorizing spare parts in SAP. In this role, you will learn about the logistics of tooling for wind power and gain practical insight into how our internal systems and data structures support our global operations. You will also interact with external suppliers to help establish correct system setups in alignment with procurement contracts, giving you valuable experience in cross-functional collaboration and supplier communication.How You’ll Make An ImpactCreate, update, and maintain master data for materials in our ERP system, SAP.Perform data quality checks and validations.Support ongoing data and quality projects, including clean-up and documentation activities.Prepare reports and data analyses in Excel and possibly Power BI.Contribute to improving and documenting master data processes.Manage and structure spare part data in SAP in collaboration with suppliers and the procurement team.What You BringCurrently pursuing a relevant higher education degree in business, IT, data science, supply chain, or economics.Structured and detail-oriented approach to work.Curiosity about how data supports business processes and enjoyment in working with precision.Solid Microsoft Office and SAP skills, with an interest in learning new systems.Proactive, independent, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues across functions.Motivation to take ownership of a project and drive it forward with responsibility and initiative.About The TeamJoin Siemens Gamesa, where we offer a student position with real responsibility and the chance to develop your skills within master data, ERP systems, and data quality.
