At Merit Edu World, we believe in transparency and do not charge any service fees before obtaining the visa.Role DescriptionThis is a contract role for a Study Abroad Counsellor at Merit Edu World. As a Study Abroad Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students throughout their study abroad journey. Your daily tasks will include assessing students' educational qualifications and career plans, developing personalized roadmaps, providing information on subjects and universities, assisting with job placement, and helping students find suitable accommodations. This is a hybrid role where you will be primarily located in Dhaka with the flexibility to work from home for some tasks.ResponsibilitiesProvide information to the students about different foreign colleges and universities (like subject, semester, tuition fee, etc.). Prepare necessary documents, fill out forms, and maintain files and records. Reporting as per deadlines for all assigned activities.Providing educational counseling for students to ensure the most appropriate course selection.Processing student visa applications based on entry requirements and admissions procedures.Video marketing according to the business strategy QualificationsStrong knowledge of study abroad programs, universities, and visa processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to understand and assess students' educational qualifications and career plansExperience in providing counseling or advising servicesStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAttention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate recordsProficiency in English and local languagesKnowledge of different subjects and career pathsFamiliarity with job placement and accommodation servicesBachelor's degree in a relevant fieldExperience in the education or counseling field is a plus
