Subcontracts Lead

TitleSubcontracts LeadKBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Subcontracts Lead to support the Abadi LNG project, one of the largest projects in Asia. This project will provide front-end design (FEED) for onshore liquefied natural gas facilities & will have a peak production capacity targets of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas. The Abadi LNG project has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.The Subcontracts Lead to manage & perform the full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work.Background Check Required**ResponsibilitiesManage the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to the Subcontracts Project teamQualify suppliers, issues requests for proposals, evaluate proposals, and maintain subcontract files in accordance with established proceduresOversee and perform the full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work on the projectUnder broad direction, is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related disciplines or sub-groups within a functionUse specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support teamEstablish priorities for the completion of assigned tasksUse judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practicesMay direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team membersRely upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategyIntuitively work amongst the project’s requirements and corporate policy to ensure overall complianceNegotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous termsInterface with all levels of the project team – and be able to represent and interface with all levels of internal and/or external management and corporate organization personsGather and compile data essential to solicitation, negotiation, and administration of purchase orders to meet project requirementsAll other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in construction science, engineering, business, finance, supply chain, or a related field or equivalent work experience15 + years of directly related experience5 + years of experience in a Lead roleSubcontracts experience within the Oil & Gas IndustryExcellent MS Word and MS Excel skillsDecarbonization – Energy Transition – Sustainability#abadi#R2112824
