Ensure the technical feasibility of projects. Lead the development of the Technical Specifications for Manufacturing (TSM) of the components under their responsibility. Participate in defining the Specifications (CDC) and lead supplier consultation engagements with DREs, as well as the execution of RCTs. Ensure the application of business rules and compliance with the technical purchasing policy, and guarantee the robustness and official validation of technical specifications. Monitor and follow up on DRE activities. Define, together with the DREs, the compliance criteria to be met (part control plan). Ensure and guarantee the quality of deliverables. Ensure the integration and validation of the components under their responsibility. Manage technical issues and handle change management. Develop and manage their task planning in alignment with the SSTM schedule. Report technical activities to the SSTM and RUEC, and provide QCD reporting to the SSTM. Contribute to maintaining and improving processes and technical standards within the function. Lead and coordinate various activities in line with project objectives.What You’ll Bring:Have at least 10 years of experience as Mechanical or Electrical or Calibration engineer working in the automotive industry.Here are some skills that would give you the right background knowledge to succeed here :Soft Skills:Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects. Mentorship: Experience in coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their technical skills. Project Management: Solid project management skills to oversee development timing, readiness, and costs. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of ICE Gasoline propulsion systems and related technologies.Technical Skills : CATIA V5: Proficiency in using CATIA V5 for 3D modeling and design. PLM (Product Lifecycle Management): Experience with PLM systems to manage product data and lifecycle processes. Microsoft Software: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and presentations.Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project or similar. Mechanical & Electrical Hardware Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical hardware components in ICE systems. Calibration and Software in ICE: Expertise in calibration and software development for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) systems is highly appreciated.Profile: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering. Significant experience (4 to 8 years) in industrial project management, within the chassis scope (axles, tires, wheels, suspension, etc.). Proficient in tools such as CATIA and PLM, as well as project management.
