Job SummaryThe Program Director is the senior leader responsible for the overall strategic direction, execution, and success of the entire Visit Vietnam initiative.

You will drive the project from conception through to market leadership, ensuring alignment with national goals, managing key stakeholders, and delivering on the project‘s ambitious vision. Reports To: - National Data Association (NDA) & Sun Group (SGR) LeadershipEmployment Type: - Full-timeLocation: - Hanoi, Vietnam (On-site)Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Visit Vietnam initiative, ensuring all activities align with the core vision. Act as the primary accountable party for achieving major program milestones, from the official announcement and partner MOUs to platform launch and market expansion.

Lead high-level stakeholder engagement and partnership development with government bodies (MCST, VNAT, MPS) and strategic partners. Oversee the entire program budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and financial objectives are met. Drive the development and approval of the project‘s foundational frameworks, including certification criteria, legal governance, and data protocols. Champion the project‘s vision internally and externally, building consensus and momentum among all involved parties. Make critical decisions to navigate challenges, manage risks, and ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the platform.

Report on program progress, outcomes, and strategic recommendations to the executive leadership of the NDA and SGR. Qualifications (Must-Haves) 15+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, complex technology or transformation projects from start to finish. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior government officials and corporate executives. Strong business and financial acumen, with experience managing significant budgets and developing sustainable business models. Demonstrated ability to think strategically, anticipate future trends, and translate a high-level vision into an actionable plan. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Fluent in both Vietnamese and English. Qualifications (Preferred) Experience in the tourism, hospitality, or technology sectors. Familiarity with data-driven business models, data governance, or digital platforms. Master‘s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Public Policy, or a related field. Experience launching national-level initiatives or public-private partnership (PPP) projects.
