The aim of the Digital Skills programme is to challenge pre-conceived ideas, raise aspirations and encourage people to think beyond their current experience and develop work ready skills. The programme brings the world of work to life by providing opportunities for candidates to understand technology career pathways and the skills and competencies to help to build successful working lives.
This role is crucial to the successful delivery of SSCâs skills programme we are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting into meaningful work with strong communication & interpersonal skills who is able to engage with a range of stakeholders including, industry representative. Role OverviewTo lead the planning & delivery Digital Skills Bootcamps, ensuring they meet OFSTED standards, achieve agreed KPIs, and successfully connect learners with employment opportunities in the technology sector.
Key to this role is the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with existing team members to be able to co-ordinate and manage the day to day delivery of the skills bootcamps to ensure success. The role involves significant amount of hands on delivery therefore the role will involve building relationships with referral partners, key stakeholders including careers teams as well with technology employers including local SMEs and corporates.
This role is crucial to the successful delivery of the skills programme and will require working closely with the Head of Skills to develop and deploy a robust plan to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget. Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and Manage the day to day planning and delivery of Digital Skills BootcampsCreation and management of bootcamp scheme of work and all lesson plans to ensure they are all consistent and at OFSTED standardsProviding regular updates to the Director of Skills & highlighting any risks to ensure the project is delivered on time & within budgetBuilding on existing relationships and developing new relationships with technology employers to raise awareness of our digital skills programmes and ensure engagement. Working with referral partners to raise awareness of our programmes to ensure student enrolment.
Creating a robust plan to engage with employers & identify opportunities for bootcamp candidate Provide regular progress updates to the Director of Skills, highlighting risks and mitigation plans to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
