You will be involved with the full sales cycle, calling on all buying influences including engineering, purchasing, quality assurance as well as senior management to generate opportunities and present pricing proposals.

Essential FunctionsIdentify new sales opportunities and follow up on new leadsMaintain detailed information on projects, quotes, samples and any other sales related information.

Develop and maintain relationships with Customer at multiple levels, including engineering, purchasing, quality and senior managementAttends and conducts business at trade showsSustain long-term relationships with key individuals in key accountsCompiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sourcesWorks with the Inside Sales Team Customer Service Representatives to facilitate customer requirementsInvestigates and resolves customer problems with deliveriesExperience, Education And SkillsAssociate degree OR two-year technical degree in engineering or related Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred2+ years of industrial sales experience within industrial automation products and solutions, experience selling custom controls panels is also preferred.

Experience selling Siemens and/or Eaton automation products is a plus Valid Driver's License in good standing is requiredOccasional out-of-town travel requiredStrong business, creative, and technical writing skillsProficiency in MS office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPointClear and concise verbal and written communication skillsEffective interpersonal, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and accuracy, and ability to multitaskWe are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer M/F/V/D.
