Our commitment to the highest quality, safety and environmental standards and our continuous quest for business excellence and ethics has ensured us today the reputation of a first class cargo carrier.We are dedicated to the operation of Bulk Carriers and have the knowledge, experience and expertise to ensure:> Compliance with rules & regulations> Accident & pollution free operations> Safe transportation of goods> Uninterrupted service and operations> Readiness & prompt deliveryOur MISSION is to constantly provide top quality ship management services with strong commitment in safety, becoming a powerful link in the global trade chain, contributing to environmental excellence and the advancement of shipping industry.Position:Pavimar SA is looking for a Superintendent Electrician.We're seeking a dedicated professional to ensure the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, automation, and navigation systems across our fleet.In this vital role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all electrical and electronic aspects of our vessels, contributing to their efficient performance and safety.As a Superintendent Electrician, you will:Oversee and ensure the optimum operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and automation systems, as well as navigation and bridge electronic equipment on our vessels.Monitor fleet performance, proactively addressing maintenance and repair needs for electrical and electronic equipment.Organize and implement technical actions for electrical and electronic equipment, adhering to company policies, industry standards, and manufacturer recommendations.Issue maintenance instructions, coordinate repairs, and ensure compliance with maintenance plans during ship visits.Collaborate with onboard personnel and other departments to achieve optimal ship performance and resolve deficiencies.Manage damage repairs, organize workshop repairs, and develop efficient troubleshooting methodologies for electrical and electronic equipment.Prepare dry dock specifications and attend dry dockings to ensure adherence to company standards and HSQE requirements.Maintain comprehensive records of electrical and electronic equipment maintenance, spares consumption, and alarm history.Provide valuable feedback to the Technical Fleet Managers and contribute to performance trend analysis.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you should have:An academic degree from a recognized Technical Institution.A minimum of 8 years of well-established previous work experience with theoretical and practical experience in maintenance and repairs.Good working knowledge of the English language.Adequate PC skills.Ability to travelOther information:Recruitment of experienced personnel has always been considered a top priority.
