Founded in 1999, the woman-owned company has been repeatedly recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the community’s Best Places to Work. If you are interested in this position and have the required qualifications, we encourage you to apply now.  Job Title: Superintendent   Employment Type: Full-Time Exempt; In-person  Reports to: Director of Field Operations Benefits: 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Eligible for Bonus  Role Responsibilities:Responsible for all phases of the construction project including coordinating subcontractors, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are strictly followed and work proceeds on schedule and within budgetResponsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control and job site safetySchedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure a timely project completionCommunicate with project team regarding material submittalsConfirm that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with contracted scopeIdentify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standardsAdvise project team of conflicts in construction progressEnsure the jobsite if kept in a clean and organized mannerPerform job progress schedule (two week look ahead) through project completionMaintain daily log of activities on the jobsiteDemonstrate group presentation skillsIdentify work areas that are outside of subcontracted scopeOpening and closing of jobsite each dayCoordinate required inspections with local jurisdictionsPreside a preconstruction meeting and weekly subcontractor coordination meetings with subcontractorsOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience Qualifications:Minimum 5 years’ of verifiable construction experience through knowledge of tradesComputer knowledge (Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook)Ability to read and interpret documents such as construction drawings, submittals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manualsPreferred Qualifications:Procore and CMiC experience is preferred but not requiredExperience delivering Corporate Workplace, Healthcare (hospital, lab, sterile environments, etc.) or Higher Education projectsOther:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standardsAbility to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standardsThis job requires frequent sitting, walking, standing bending, reaching and, often working on a computer. Due to computer usage, repetitive motions of the hands, fingers and wrists may occurHe/she must be able to navigate the jobsite and is expected to be able to comply with all safety regulations in the office and on the job siteTraveling to our other offices, clients and vendors is requiredDuring peak workload, more than 40 hours per week will be required, which may include night and weekend work
