Business Unit OverviewOur Operations unit is the engine room of Superloop - responsible for maintaining and supporting all of our products and internal technical infrastructure to ensure the best possible service to both our customers and our very own business. Our Operations unit is responsible for ensuring that the business has the technical capability and capacity to deliver services to all Superloop customers ranging from Home Broadband to International Wholesale.
Role PurposeThe role is responsible for designing and building scalable, cost-efficient data models across cloud and on-prem environments to enable advanced analytics and reporting. This position bridges business needs with technical solutions by developing Databricks dashboards, integrating data from multiple systems, and supporting requirements gathering. Acting as the key link between business teams and IT, the role ensures the timely delivery of high-quality data products, while maintaining clear documentation and fostering knowledge sharing through training and collaboration across the Superloop team. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build data models (cloud and on-prem) to support highly scalable and cost efficient data analysis.
▪ Build Databricks reports and dashboards based on business requirements. ▪ Work with data integration team to define and load data sources from multiple data systems; ▪ Support business team in requirements gathering; ▪ Act as the primary liaison between the business team and IT to ensure timely delivery of world-class products; ▪ Maintain thorough documentation of internal processes/procedures and individual projects; and ▪ Lead training sessions and share learnings among the Superloop team. Qualifications And ExperienceAdvanced knowledge of SQL (writing / debugging / optimizationAdvanced knowledge Data visualisation (preferably Databricks)Knowledge of data warehousing / data lake setup, maintenance and optimization.
Knowledge of developing business dashboards and reports and aligning these to business objectives and outcomes. Knowledge of database management, including diagnostics and resolution of database errors would be highly beneficial.
