Our culture of excellence incorporates working collegially, where every team member can contribute meaningfully and make a difference.If you are ready to make an impact, join our team!What You Will Do – Primary ResponsibilitiesCreation of tailor made content and key messages to external stakeholders in order to present SBA and defend the interests of the company and sector.Elaboration of reports to SBA´s senior leadership: meetings briefings, public policy monitoring reports, deliverables and executive summaries.Preparation of presentations and briefings to be used in internal and external meetings and events. Present material to senior leadershipFocal point for communications and political matters in SBA, supporting the Manager.Representation of SBA in institutional meetings with governmental and sectorial stakeholdersRepresentation of SBA in public hearings with municipal authoritiesManage the GRA area financial data and periodically update the area´s spreadsheets on Power BI and Excel.Lead external consultancy on institutional relations in municipalities, regional and national governmentSupport the establishment of partnerships to leverage SBA´s business and protect the company´s interests.Ability to analyze and revise bills of law and other public policies and to understand the legislative processes in all levels: municipal, regional and national.Interfaces with regulators to obtain clarification and context around requirements.Prepare letters, memos, and spreadsheets as required to track projects.Conduct research on related Industry matters.Other projects and duties as assigned.What You’ll Need – Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.At least 5 years of experience in Government relations, institutional relations and/or communications.Demonstrated knowledge and advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.Domestic and International Travel 30% of the timeThis role is in-person, located in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
