At least 3 years risk and safety management experience, as well as administration knowledge within a mining, services..Be in possession engineering qualification (Trade) ElectricalGrade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 qualifications with English literacyKey ResponsibilitiesAdministration Manages all relevant data received through Health and Safety reports, screening and profiles by gathering, monitoring, manipulating, collating and analysing data based on experience and knowledge of the function. Presents information to management in the form of reports and provides advice based on specialist knowledge by compiling reports-based information received, scrutinizing submitted reports from the Operation and providing feedback. Attends and participates in meetings by providing required information based on acquired knowledge and experience. Keeps abreast of latest relevant Health and Safety developments, innovations and technologies by means of liaising with other sources and by attending meetings on a regular basis. Assists with the maintenance and updates of relevant policies, procedures and regulations in line with current trends and developments and based on own specialist knowledge. Ensures that costs are controlled and wastage of resources is eliminated by working within prescribed budgets. Reports deviations to Supervisor. Performs any other activities necessary for the effective completion of his / her work.
