About The JobThe Supervisor is responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects of the production process in one section of the processing facility. This role involves coordination, planning, and supervision to maintain the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safetyResponsibilitiesTeam Management: Lead and mentor workers to ensure productivity and safety. Schedule and coordinate shifts, manage employee performance, and resolve issues as they arise.Collaboration: Work closely with the management team to align production goals with company objectives and strategies. Collaborate with sales and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery of products. Interface with the quality department to maintain and improve product quality.Safety and Compliance: Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards. Investigate and report any safety incidents or compliance issues.Requirements Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an added advantage. Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial production, preferably in the food processing industry. Proven success in optimizing production processes, achieving production targets, and enhancing operational efficiency. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate a diverse workforce. Solid understanding of quality control systems, inventory management, and safety protocols. Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively and make sound decisions in dynamic environments. Excellent organizational and time management skills for overseeing complex production workflows. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is a plus. Familiarity with cashew nut processing and organic food production is highly desirable.
