Supervisor Purchasing (Packaging) - Cosmetic Industry

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Supervisor Purchasing (Packaging) to join our growing cosmetic manufacturing team.This role will be responsible for leading the packaging purchasing process — from supplier selection, negotiation, and cost control, to ensuring material availability for production and new product development.Responsibilities:Source, evaluate, and develop packaging suppliers (bottle, jar, tube, box, pump, cap, label, etc.).Negotiate prices, MOQ, and lead times to ensure cost efficiency and on-time delivery.Manage purchasing activities and review Purchase Orders.Coordinate with R&D, QC, PPIC, and Production to ensure packaging specifications meet quality standards.Monitor supplier performance and maintain good relationships.Control packaging inventory and ensure timely material availability.Lead and supervise the purchasing team to achieve department targets.Prepare regular purchasing reports and cost analysis.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, or related field.Minimum 3–5 years experience in purchasing packaging (preferably in cosmetics, FMCG, or personal care).Strong negotiation and communication skills.Knowledge of supplier evaluation, cost analysis, and procurement procedures.Leadership ability and attention to detail.Proficient in English or Mandarin is an advantage.
