Job Title: Supervisor – SMP2 Mechanical (Shifts)Location: Abu Dhabi, UAEType: Full-timeThe Supervisor – SMP2 Mechanical is responsible for leading mechanical maintenance activities in the Steel Melting Plant to ensure high equipment reliability, minimal downtime, and safe, efficient operations. The role oversees preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance while guiding technicians and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead and supervise mechanical maintenance teams to achieve planned objectives and minimize downtime.Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance activities.Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and identify root causes for corrective actions.Monitor spare parts usage and participate in CAPEX/OPEX planning.Coordinate with other departments and external service providers for smooth maintenance execution.Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.Contribute to technical improvements and training of national trainees.\Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.5–6 years of supervisory experience in mechanical maintenance within a Steel Melting Plant (EAF, LRF, CCM, RMH, FTP).Strong technical knowledge in preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and fabrication.Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of CBM, RCM, or TPM methodologies.Familiarity with ISO 9000/14000 standards.Experience with maintenance budgeting and reporting.
