If you need content to finalize this requisition for posting, please send a message to mydanahrplatform@dana.com.Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo conduct supplier system assessment audits at the suppliers with reference to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, Special Process Modules, Continuous Quality Improvement requirements and any other additional requirements specific to the customer and the companyReport to the responsible Regional Supplier Development Manager when major issues occur. (Ex. Project timing failure, production line stop, customer disturbance, audit status)To drive continuous improvements throughout the assigned supplier base.To report the current status of all parts undergoing APQP through proactive discussions with Regional SD Mgt., Launch and Project teamsIn case the supplier cannot solve issues highlighted during suppliers APQP process, to collate all information required for decision making and escalate as appropriate within the organizationTo support Off-Highway plants globally in case of escalationsEnsure that all purchased parts are ready for PPAP approval to the appropriate level during the APQP process.Works with suppliers to refine and enhance products and processes by applying continuous improvement and lean principles to assure purchased components meet specificationsEnsures the quality assurance of sourced products through Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, including control plan development, product qualifications, etc.To be the voice of quality in their respective Regional/Global Commodity Strategy meetings.To support capacity assessment in order to mitigate production line stop risk.To lead commodity meetings for the responsible area (top worst suppliers, improvement plans)Expectations:University degree in Manufacturing, Quality EngineeringMinimum 5 years relevant experience in similar fieldAdvanced knowledge of Quality Core ToolsKnowledge in Machining and/or Casting products and processesComfortable by working under pressure and managing escalations on a regular basis; independent worker, capable of operating in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment and able to effectively deal with difficult situationsStrong analytical, strategic thinkingExcellent problem-solving skills, ability to present to leadership at all levelsAvailability to travel in Hungary and abroad up to 70%Fluency in English
