Role: Supplier Development Quality EngineerLocation: Atlanta, GA - 30313Duration: 12 MonthsShift Timings: 8 AM to 5 PMKey Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred, but any engineering degree acceptable).3–6 years of experience, including at least 1 year in Supplier Quality Engineering.Main Responsibilities:Evaluate new suppliers for technical and quality capabilities.Develop and maintain inspection procedures; train inspectors.Create and source inspection tools and equipment.Prepare test protocols, monitor tests, and approve qualified components.Support design teams in component selection and quality analysis.Analyze defects in incoming materials and coordinate corrective actions.Review design specs for manufacturability and quality.Investigate field failures related to supplier materials.Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory quality standards.May lead moderate-scope projects and guide junior staff.
