General SummaryThis position leads the development, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the global Supplier Quality Assurance program to ensure protein raw materials consistently meet or exceed quality and food safety standards. High level communications skills are critical and the ability to manager through conflict and influence with a positive attitude is key.Duties And ResponsibilitiesContributes to a positive and proactive safety culture. Demonstrates strong commitment and leadership to providing a sustainable, safe, and healthful work environment. Ensures full compliance with all applicable company and regulatory environmental, health and safety requirements.Promotes, supports, and ensures compliance with all food safety and quality practices, policies, and initiatives.Comprehensively manages raw material suppliers and the risk-based supplier program, including required document management, food safety and quality audits, specification training and verification, supplier reviews, the root cause and Corrective Action / Preventive Action program management, and process improvement activities.Performs documented risk analyses on raw, intermediate and finished products by evaluating supplier processes, procedures, 3rd party audits, and specifications.Implements audit tools that accurately evaluate the supplier’s capability to meet standards and expectations.Builds strategic supplier partnerships to achieve long-term value, reliability, and adherence to quality specifications. This includes actively and routinely reviewing performance against specifications, 3rd and 2nd party inspection review, on-site audits and process management, special cause investigations, and training.Manages and regularly publishes Key Performance Indicators including: audit cycle time, Supplier Corrective/Preventive Actions reports, risk analysis, and Raw Material Compliance scores.Identifies, designs, leads, and executes supplier quality and food safety continuous improvement initiatives.Oversees internal and external audit resources to meet supplier requirements by managing 3rd party and specification inspectors including: training, verification activities, specification compliance, and corrective and preventive actions.Manages the export program to ensure regulatory complianceSupports new co-packer product launches to ensure suppliers can deliver to the required quality standards.If you'd like to hear more about this opportunity and others we are currently working on, please contact Kristine O'Sullivan at kosullivan@cps4jobs.com.JO: 127.25KOSalary$110,000 - $120,000Benefits Available
