The open position is a pivotal role with cross functional interactions locally and centrally HQ who will be working to advocate for Korea business needs in order to maximize sales potential across retail and e-commerce business. The candidate will be a key member of merchandising/supply chain/business planning team supporting business operations, delivering key business insights, and continuously improving the analytical capabilities for cross-functional stakeholders across the organization as well as standardize business process for continuous improvement. Take ownership of setting the right target stock by SKU level for all stores and main warehouse in order to secure the sales revenue and to manage the supply through auto-replenishment process while considering sales trendCoordinate to take backorders from GDC (Global Distribution Center) in a timely manner and track the shipment procedures to the end Define key objectives related to the inventory level such as weeks of coverage, availability% and overstock% based on target stock and product assortment Monitor adequate stock level in a region throughout the season according to sales plan, paying close attention to seasonal launches from set-up proposal to store allocation Oversee the supply status of launch set-up and share the information with each stakeholder when the supply delays Develop in-depth understanding of clients and stores demands/requests and be agile in taking actionsSupervise to take out outdated seasonal products from all stores and follow relevant actions Administer product supplies in accordance with Back-of-House (BOH) capacity when store openingsEnsure smooth collaboration with a logistic team to coordinate spot actions/solutions to speed up flows of priority merchandiseWork in a commercial and strategic way with both local and central teams to ensure the best outcomes for the business – current and futureCognizance of nuance around process, data, systems to drive decision-making, challenge and propose improvements on existing process Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree +8 years of experiences in retail merchandising and inventory planning in retail / luxury industry preferredSkills: Tools savvy: Anaplan, Power BI, CEGID, JDE, Excel Strong numerical and analytical skillGreat attention to detailsPassionate, self-motivated and proactive Fluent in English and native in Korean
