For more information, visit www.adient.com.The role of Supply Chain Analyst is to drive container centralization and monitor inventory flows across Adient EMEA. You'll support packaging process standardization, optimize transport networks between plants and suppliers, and contribute to cost and packaging efficiency. This role also supports program launches aligned with PLUS methodology and SCM strategy.What will your responsibilities be?Identification, development, design of new routes & optimization of existing routes in Adient transport networkPackaging loop calculation for multiple customer/supplier relations under consideration Adient rules and plants/supplier requirementsMonitoring of available standard packaging within Adient EMEA (usage patterns, inventory levels)Align optimal network proposals with supervisor, affected plants, execution lead & provide network rules for self-management to plantsUsing Adient available tools for managing complicated packaging loops. Permanently develop adjustment proposals for changed network environmentStay in contact with network contributors, service providers & Adient central departmentsProvide best praxis solutions for recent supply chain challenges (network, packaging, logistic services)Create, implement and maintain ideas of supply chain improvementsSupport & monitor packaging x-change database on internet platform to reduce packaging investWhich qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?Technical and/or commercial apprenticeship: transport engineering, traffic system engineering and logistics, industrial engineeringMin. 3 years’ experience in supply chain, preferably in automotive Industry by company with more than 50.000 employeesBasic understanding of Adient systems and processes – advantage.Broad based packaging & transport network knowledge, geographical knowledgeFundamental manufacturing/materials and logistics operations knowledgeGood supply chain Solutions/Market/Evolutions and Adient plant knowledgeAnalytical thinking & process thinkingUnderstanding from global dependenciesAssertive, convincing in argumentsEnglish – fluent, German – preferableAdient is committed to equal employment opportunity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
