As a rapidly growing company based in Mission, BC, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and innovation.We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join our growing team and play a key role in ensuring materials, suppliers, and inventory align with our fast-moving production needs. If you enjoy collaboration and driving process improvements, you’ll be a great fit.The Supply Chain Coordinator's is responsible for material resource planning, inventory management, and securing quality suppliers of materials and components covering price, delivery, and quality.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage supply chain activities, including but not limited to forecasting material consumption and working with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, weekly material stockout reports, and overseeing purchasing of long lead inventoryManagement of inventory and consumables, including but not limited to setting min/max levels, cycle counts, year-end counts, and negative inventory reviewPurchasing material for production runs, ensuring parts and materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time for productionEstablish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned to the company’s needsIdentify new suppliers, agree terms, and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate, including discount structure, volume rebates and shipping costsContinually improve purchasing methods and drive down spendingCreating and searching for new parts assemblies to help reduce costs and promote efficiencySupport various department requests tied to purchasing/inventoryREQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, in a manufacturing or industrial work environmentDiploma or Degree in related field, such as Supply Chain, Business, or International TradeFamiliar with contracts and negotiatingManufacturing industry experienceMust have intermediate or greater Microsoft Excel skillsMust be fluent in written and spoken EnglishExperience with QuickBooks Pro or Enterprise (version ‘14 to ‘21) is considered an assetAbility to work under pressure with changing prioritiesStrong professional and work ethics, self-motivated, accountable and results orientedWe value our employees and offer a comprehensive compensation plan including a competitive salary and a benefit package consisting of Health, Dental, Assistance Program, RRSP and a great working environment.We thank you for your interest but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
