This hands-on approach ensures the highest standards of quality, consistency, and care in everything we do.As we continue to strengthen our global sourcing capability, we're seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our high-performing Agriculture & Supply team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.About the roleThis role sits at the heart of Tegel's commodity import and domestic grains programme, managing the end-to-end operational flow that keeps our supply chain moving. You'll act as the key link between suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping and customs agents, and government authorities — ensuring every shipment meets Tegel's strict compliance, biosecurity, and quality standards.From overseeing import documentation and tracking inventory levels to managing contract compliance, payments, and reporting, you'll play a vital role in keeping our supply chain operating with precision, efficiency, and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all import documentation for bulk commodity shipments, ensuring compliance with MPI and Tegel standards.Coordinate with global suppliers, freight companies, and regulatory agencies to maintain seamless import operations.Monitor stock levels, raw material usage, and reporting for the commodity programme.Prepare shipment summaries, cost and efficiency reports, and ensure contract payment schedules are met.Support continuous improvement across logistics, procurement, and reporting processes.What You'll Bring5+ years' experience in logistics, shipping, import/export documentation.Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and MPI biosecurity processes.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Advanced Excel and data management capability.A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Business (preferred).Why Join UsAt Tegel, our values guide everything we do — One Team, Hungry for Better, Do What's Right, and We Care.
