Supply Chain PlannerCMC & Product SupplyKalundborg on-site, DenmarkThis is an unordinary opportunity to join Novo Nordisk’s global API supply chain — where innovation, scale, and purpose meet to shape the future of life-saving medicines.Your new roleAs a Supply Chain Planner at Novo Nordisk, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products across our supply chain. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Supply Chain Planning Configuration and Optimization: Set supply chain parameters in alignment with manufacturing sites and/or sourcing responsibilities.Maintaining Tactical Supply Chain Parameters: Validate demand input and production plan output from a raw material perspective. Ensure warehouse and storage space availability across all products, through up-to-date freezer requirement projections. Implement supply chain improvements in line with outcomes from the S&OP decision process. Update tactical raw materials consumption plans based on the latest guidance and decisions.Business Partnering with other SVP Areas: Be the “go-to” person for other SVP areas, in terms of insights into freezer/warehouse requirements. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to ensure the best decisions for Novo Nordisk.Continuous Process Optimisation: Drive process optimisation and alignment with dependent processes.Your new departmentAPI (Active pharmaceutical ingredients) Supply Chain Management is the central department for the API manufacturing units in Denmark and US. We are responsible for managing API Sales & Operations Planning activities and inventory management. We also provide analytical consultancy for supply chain tasks for API and stakeholders through advanced analytics and other relevant Digital Supply Chain Enhancement tools.The atmosphere in our team is fun, dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced. We work closely with internal stakeholders, including SoOp and GL&D Business Partners, Sales & Operations Planning, inventory managers, and manufacturing site operations teams. Together, we strive to deliver high-quality results, meet deadlines, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients worldwide.Your Skills And QualificationsWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can bring the following qualifications to the role:An academic degree within supply chain, business, engineering or similar+ 3 years of experience from pharma or other regulated industry, experience with production tools and processes is a plus. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, SAP is considered an advantage. It is also an advantage if you have APICS CSCP/CPIM certification.Strong ability to explain complex data clearly to various stakeholders.Full proficiency in English.As a person, you are proactive, work independently, and excel at fostering collaboration across the organization. You possess strong interpersonal skills and communicate effectively at all levels.
