About the role: We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join our team and be pivotal in the success of the Horseware business. As a Supply Chain Planner you play a key role by driving factory performance and on-time delivery as well as collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will be an advocate for process improvement within Supply Chain and beyond, improving the efficiency of the planning process with factories as well as with cross-functional departments, including Commercial, Merchandising, Logistics, and FinanceKey Responsibilities: Work with Merchandising, Commercial and other internal functions to allow development and maintenance of timely capacity and supply plans with our factory partners.Work with factories, Logistics and other stakeholders to manage peak season capacity constraints by optimizing flow of Raw Materials and Finished GoodsDevelop, optimize, and present key analytics and observations to enable effective teamwide planning decisions, including but not limited to: Supplier Delivery Performance (SDP); Supplier Lead Time (SLT); On Time In Full (OTIF) and other metrics as requiredCollaborate with Supply Chain colleagues to ensure day to day continuity, process development, problem solving and support of continuous improvement undertaking.Participate in and contribute to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process primarily through the Demand and Supply Reviews Review, challenge, action, and report on impact of forecasting changes as part of the Integrated Business Planning Process (IBP).Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our partner factories and their processes.Manage factory relationships to ensure optimal performance with a focus on a long term and mutually beneficial partnershipMaintain a thorough understanding of key customers, other stakeholders and overall business objectivesRepresent Supply Planning in cross functional meetings and projects as requiredApply analytical skillset to improve our internal reporting, communication and ultimately decision making. Apply critical thinking to assess current processes, recommend enhancements, and implement solutions that improve performance and productivityKnowledge and Skills Required: 3+ years experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Planning or other relevant roles preferably within the textile industry. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance or Supply Chain Exceptional analytic skills and financial acumen. Experience with ERP solutions and Business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI) and advanced excel skillset an asset.Excellent communication skills and an ability to balance autonomy and collaborationStrong ambition to learn new skills and technology.
