team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.As the Supply Chain Manager at Marelli, you will be responsible for supporting and elevating the efficiency, reliability, and performance of our supply chain operations.You will oversee end-to-end processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement best practices to ensure seamless flow of materials and information.Your proactive approach will help drive continuous improvement, strengthen supplier relationships, and contribute to meeting our overall business objectives.Your Responsibilities Will BeStrategic Planning:Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the plant's operational goals and Marelli's business objectives.Monitor market trends to anticipate changes and adjust supply chain activities accordingly.Procurement and Vendor Management:Oversee the procurement process to maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of materials.Negotiate contracts and manage agreements to optimize costs and ensure compliance with company policies.Inventory and Warehouse Management:Implement inventory management practices to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce waste, and improve turnover rates.Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring safety protocols and efficient logistics processes.Production Scheduling:Collaborate with production teams to create schedules that meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.Address any disruptions in the supply chain to maintain continuous operations.Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency.Use data analytics to monitor performance and make informed decisions.Team Leadership:Lead and motivate the supply chain team, providing guidance and development opportunities.Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the team.What Qualifications You Will BringBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.Proficiency in SAP or other supply chain management software.Other Skills That We Would WelcomeExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong negotiation and communication abilities.Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.Fluent in English and Spanish is preferred.Expectations
