The Supply Chain team in Zwolle plays a key role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products by managing procurement, planning, and coordination with manufacturing sites and third-party suppliers. Their work supports global operations and contributes directly to Abbott’s mission of improving health outcomes.What You’ll DoAs a Procurement Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:Placing and managing Purchase Orders (POs) and Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) in our system.Ensuring timely and accurate order execution and proactively communicating with manufacturing sites.Monitoring dashboards and supply metrics to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.Collaborating closely with planners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations.Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to process optimization.What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking someone who is:Proactive and responsible, with a strong sense of ownership.Skilled in system handling (SAP ECC/APO experience is a plus).An excellent communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally in an international environment.Analytical and solution-oriented, with the ability to interpret data and make sound decisions.Comfortable working with tools like Excel and Power BIYour BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (we’re open to diverse educational backgrounds).Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or planning - ideally within the pharmaceutical industry, but this not mandatoryFluency in English is required; Dutch is a nice-to-have but not mandatory.Why Join Us?Be part of a supportive team led by a manager who encourages improvement and innovation.Work closely with planners and gain insight into strategic supply chain processes.Opportunity to grow within a global organization that values collaboration and continuous learning.How To ApplyPlease apply to the position through the link in the ad.
