This position will lead optimizing efficiencies and project managing a wide array of requests while collaborating with key stakeholders in Supply Chain, Procurement, Transportation Services, and Corporate Real Estate as it relates to Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory, and Capacity planning.As a Supply Chain Strategy and Optimization Senior Advisor, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?ResponsibilitiesApplies operational and business data to model real-time decision making and optimizing of existing and new operational technology focused processesDevelops, implements, and oversees Supply Chain strategies focused on business improvement initiatives such as space, labor, and inventory optimization focused on cost reductions, efficiency improvements, and revenue growth managementCollaborates with key contacts (OU's, distributors, manufactures, etc.) to identify and gather data required to model scenarios that mimic the dynamics, variables, and constraints within Supply ChainInvestigates industry trends in Supply Chain modeling software to maintain leading edge capabilities to support SCE's Pathway 2045Acts independently to develop and recommend initiatives to optimize the Supply Chain organization by focusing on key performance metrics, resource planning, and contractor management. Builds consensus through consultation of project teams, and senior and executive leadershipAnalyze and forecast current/historic demand and industry trends, to build and implement a Supply Chain Strategy that has major corporate-wide financial and operational impactsImplements a Supply Chain strategy that minimizes spend while identifying, addressing, and optimizing efficienciesCoordinates the introduction of new technologies with other functional groups and promotes life cycle thinking for sustainable design and operationsEstablishes initiative objectives, manages timelines, risk analysis, milestones and budgets, and approves tasks and deliverables necessary for successful implementationA material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.Minimum QualificationsTen or more years of experience in supply chain, inventory performance management and/or materials procurement.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Transportation, Procurement, Logistics or related fieldKnowledge of inventory criticality and risk-based stocking strategies for essential materialsSkilled in MRP/ERP systems and data integrity practices ensuring accurate financial and operational visibilityDeep understanding of end-to-end inventory lifecycle including demand planning, replenishment, receiving, cycle counts, and dispositionExperience designing, developing, advancing and/or evaluating broad scope Supply Chain initiatives that have significant impact.Ability to influence and lead high level projects, budgets, and resultsLean Six Sigma Certification (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.)Experience developing communications/presentations for executive level audiencesAdditional InformationThis position's work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
