You’ll provide expert management accounting services and commercial advice to help drive strategic and operational outcomes. This role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing financial processes and supporting business performance.Key Responsibilities Include Lead financial control and reporting for South Island Viticulture and Winery operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Partner with operations teams across South Island and NZ to support strategic projects and provide financial insights that drive decision-making. Deliver monthly reporting and variance analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial outcomes. Support capital planning and cost management by preparing capex justifications, tracking savings, and contributing to value creation initiatives. Drive process improvements through automation and digital solutions, while supporting costing, audits, and broader finance team activities.What You’ll Bring Tertiary qualifications in Accounting / Finance / Business Post graduate qualifications – CA, CPA or MBA Relevant experience within a Finance function in a large corporate entity desirable Wine industry / FMCG experience strongly desirable Advanced business partnering skills combined with strong business acumen Ability to influence others and be a reliable, value-adding partnerWhy Join Us?Vinarchy is a home for passionate people to do their very best work.
