We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our global team dedicated to this function.As a Network Supply Manager, you will be the primary category point of contact for supplier interactions, performance management, and negotiations for the site.In this role, you will work with partners to build a comprehensive view of supplier performance for continued sourcing success and improvements.You will participate in and/or lead the development and implementation of category strategies and projects related to but not limited to supply base optimization, lead time reductions, cashflow management, cost of ownership reduction initiatives, and pricing/contract negotiations. You will also work with stakeholders and suppliers to resolve and prevent critical issues surrounding quality and delivery.This will be done by understanding current and future needs, an analysis of market and company trends, perform and participate in the benchmarking of world-class approaches, identify opportunities to leverage changes in processes, systems and product/services, then prioritize and drive the implementation based upon estimating timing and level of savings captured.Other responsibilities include ensuring department compliance to company policies and departmental procedures. You will be responsible for providing input back to leadership on the building and implementing department strategies, processes, and policy through active participation on teams and projects.This role requires close collaboration with Category Supplier Managers, Central Engineering, Planning/Industrial Engineering, Site Engineering, Finance, Legal and other stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesManage procurement process for Capital, Spares and ServicesManage Procure to Pay (P2P) process for capital, spares and services, not limited to delivery date follow up, cash flow maintenance, budgeting process, invoice reconciliation.Maintain on-time delivery (OTD) to meet the network capacity requirementManage Supplier RelationshipAct as primary point of contact for assigned suppliersPerform commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliersMaintain collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while resolving supplier performance/capability issuesEnsure suppliers comply with Micron's code-of-conduct programs and corporate social responsibility initiativesCommunicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organizationProvide the voice of the supply base to Micron and provide the voice of Micron to the supply baseLead localization activitiesLeading and driving for localization activities, ranging from goods to servicesIdentify and Implement Supplier-Related Savings LeversUtilize data and should-cost models to drive cost improvementServe as the subject matter expert for suppliers sharing knowledge with key stakeholdersDrive Negotiations with Suppliers for Sustaining PurchasesLead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewalsCoordinate with Category Supplier Manager on global negotiations or lead local/regional sourcing events / RFQ process.Develop a contract strategy for managed suppliers and create, negotiate, monitor, and enforce contracted terms and conditionsEnsure Supplier Performance ManagementWorks with suppliers for continuous improvement on Capacity and LeadtimePartner with the Category team and to build comprehensive view of supplier performance.
