Short DescriptionSupply planner – job descriptionThe Supply Planner is responsible to ensure short-term packaging and raw material planning focused on placement of purchase Orders to fulfill production plan requirements and agreed inventory targets i.e. the process of creating and maintaining weekly and daily procurement schedules to meet production demand requirements and inventory targets.The Supply Planner also ensures that the warehouses in the distribution network receives the required products in time according to the planned consumption and ordered quantities in the short-term horizon. This includes monitoring stock transfer requisitions to warehouses considering target inventory levels, shelf-life restrictions, planned consumption, transport and storage capacities.Key Focus AreasCreating and maintaining the procurement schedule based on the production schedule, master plan and on established pull signals (MRP and reorder point planning)Ensure target stock coverage in the warehouses through timely placement of PO’s and by exception also dispatch of stock transfer orders of available inventory between the Paulig sites, considering shelf-life restrictionsEnsure the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for productionSchedule and oversee the supply and delivery of materials and productsManage inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellationsAnalyze changing material demand patternsEnsuring the best possible utilization of truck loading capacities considering the defined loading rulesCommunication with suppliers, production and logistics to ensure a permanent exchange of informationRegular evaluation and maintenance of all material relevant planning parameters and master data stored in the system for ensuring maximum system supported material planningCapabilities / QualificationsPersonalAdvanced problem-solving and decision-making skillsVery good planning, communication and coordination skillsGood understanding and handling of IT systems and functionalities (e.g. MRP)Pro-active, result driven personalityFunctionalWe welcome candidates who possess the right mindset and personality, even if they do not have prior experience.
