POSITION OVERVIEW:The Supply Planning Manager will lead supply and production planning for our plant-based product line, ensuring optimal product availability, efficient inventory levels, and alignment with our sustainability and service goals. This role bridges operations, procurement, and commercial teams to drive an agile, data-driven supply plan that supports innovation and growth. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Supply & Production PlanningDevelop and execute the master production schedule for the plant-based portfolio. Translate sales forecasts into feasible supply and capacity plans, balancing cost, lead times, MOQs, service, and inventory. Coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of key plant-based ingredients and packaging materials. Work closely with the copacker to ensure alignment of our production needs and cadence Inventory & Capacity Management Monitor inventory targets, shelf-life risks, and slow-moving SKUs; implement action plans to reduce write-offs. Partner with manufacturing and logistics teams to assess capacity constraints and recommend scenario-based solutions. Develop and report KPIs such as fill rate, days of inventory, forecast accuracy, and schedule adherence. Cross-Functional CollaborationAct as the key liaison between demand planning, procurement, co-packer, quality, product development, marketing, and the operations team. Support commercialization and new product launches through capacity and material readiness planning. Prepare and present slides for our monthly S&OP supply reviews to highlight risks, opportunities, and required trade-offs. Continuous Improvement Identify and implement process improvements and digital tools to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency. Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply plan — minimizing waste, optimizing plant utilization, and reducing transport emissions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, or related field (MBA or APICS/IBF certification preferred). 5+ years of supply planning or production planning experience in food, beverage, or CPG; experience with perishable products strongly preferred. Proficiency in ERP systems, planning tools,(NetSuite, Modus or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical and communication skills with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset. Experience in co-manufacturing environments and S&OP processes.
