As a supply chain specialist, you will be developing supply plans, balancing supply and demand, optimizing inventory levels, coordinating across global procurement, production, and logistics teams, and ensuring timely execution of supply plans in a fast-paced new space manufacturing environment.What will you do in this role?Supply Planning!Develop and maintain short- and long-term supply plans based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and material availability.Review forecast accuracy and work closely with demand planning and sales teams to align supply plans with updated demand signals.Drive the implementation, optimization, and effective use of MRP functionality within ERP.Support data accuracy, reporting, and analytics for decision-making.Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and subassemblies to ensure optimal stock levels while avoiding shortages or excess.Review MRP results and create purchase requests based on lead times and inventory levels.Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials from suppliers.Risk Management & Problem SolvingWork closely with production planners to ensure smooth manufacturing schedules and resolve any supply constraints.Support the introduction of new products by ensuring material readiness for pilot and mass production phases.Manage supply exceptions and communicate risks proactively to stakeholders.Monitor product lifecycle stages, coordinate with engineering and procurement to manage EOL components, and initiate change requests where required.Ensure timely execution of material phase-out and replacement plans.Continuous ImprovementAnalyze supply chain KPIs (e.g., service level, inventory turns, on-time delivery) and implement improvement initiatives.Improve MRP system functionality in close collaboration with IT for better supply planning and procurement process. Support system enhancements and digitalization projects for better supply chain visibility and efficiency.RequirementsWhat will you need to be successful in this role?Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.2-5 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or materials management, preferably in electronics or high-tech manufacturing.
