Performs manual and clerical tasks involved in the distribution of supplies and materials.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerforms job responsibilities with minimal supervisionReceives clinical laboratory specimens via US Mail, UPS, FED-EX and CouriersAssists in maintaining purchase order filing system.Receives supplies, and laboratory equipment from Purchase OrdersDelivers Purchase Orders, and specimens to Lab UnitsReceives and counts items and records data manually or using a computerSorts and delivers US Mail and internal mailProcess outgoing mailProcess outgoing shipments , using UPS and Fed-ExDrive company van to various location for pick-up and drop-offAssists with unpacking stock items to be stored in warehouseStores items in an order and accessible manner in warehouse, supply rooms or other areasVerifies inventory by comparing to physical counts of stockAssist with delivering/relocating laboratory equipment.Minimum QualificationsVocational/Technical degree from an accredited college AND One year of experience in shipping and receivingORHigh school diploma or GED AND Two years of experience in shipping and receivingOROne year of experience at the lower level Supply Warehouse Clerk 2 (FES011) or position equivalent.Note: Some positions require possession of valid driver's license.Preferred Qualifications2+ years experience in a Warehouse setting2+ years experience in Shipping & ReceivingAbility to multitask in an environment with shifting prioritiesProficient in MS Office Suite including, Word, Outlook, and SharePointMust possess and maintain a valid driver's licenseCourier experience including vehicle maintenancePhysical RequirementsAbility to work in a warehouse environment on concrete flooring and in varying temperaturesAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to safely operate material handling equipment as neededAbility to bend, stoop and twist as neededAbility to safely lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 50 pounds of materials, supplies and equipment as needed.Category 2: Moderate to heavy physical activity and consistent exposure to working conditions that may interact with an employee's medical or fitness condition.
