Sustainability Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Advisor with a strong environmental focus to join our team in Sallins, Co. Kildare. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all our projects align with environmental regulations, sustainability best practices, and our corporate sustainability goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement environmental and sustainability strategies across our projects.Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and industry standards.Monitor, assess, and report on environmental impacts, including carbon footprint, waste management, and resource efficiency.Work closely with project teams to integrate sustainable practices into design, procurement, and construction processes.Conduct site audits and environmental assessments, identifying areas for improvement.Engage with regulatory bodies, local authorities, and stakeholders on sustainability matters.Stay up-to-date with emerging sustainability trends and innovations in the construction industry.Key RequirementsDegree in Environmental Science, Sustainability or Civil Engineering.At least 3 years of experience in an environmental or sustainability role within construction or civil engineering.Strong knowledge of Irish environmental legislation, carbon reduction strategies, and circular economy principles.Experience with environmental management systems (ISO 14001) and sustainability reporting including carbon calculations.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to analyse data and provide strategic recommendations for sustainability improvements.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A supportive and collaborative work environment.The chance to contribute to high-impact infrastructure projects with a strong focus on sustainability.Apply now – join our team and help shape a sustainable future for Ireland’s infrastructure!
