OverviewThe Sustainability Manager will lead and oversee all sustainability-related activities across the construction Sites, ensuring full compliance with Employer’s sustainability requirements and industry best practices. The role focuses on integrating sustainable construction methods, reducing environmental impact, managing certification requirements, and ensuring that project works support long-term environmental performance goals.Your roleEnsuring all staff involved in sustainability management are adequately trained.Leading the Contractor’s sustainability strategy in alignment with Employer requirements.Investigating and promoting modern construction methods such as modular, prefabricated, and pre-cast solutions.Evaluating and implementing smart technologies including BMS, building automation, controls, security, and communication systems.Developing a sustainable traffic and logistics plan, including temporary traffic management strategies.Assessing and mitigating burdens on existing infrastructure and identifying strategies to reduce negative impacts.Ensuring connectivity and year-round user-friendly pathways while minimizing light pollution through suitable lighting design and fixture selection.Preparing noise impact assessments, identifying noise-sensitive zones, and ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies.Promoting reduced use of private vehicles by implementing bus services, carpool parking spaces, and low-emission transport incentives.Managing certification activities during construction and supporting post-construction requirements, including energy and water performance reporting.About YouBachelor’s Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in sustainable construction and project sustainability management.Demonstrated experience with green building certification processes and performance reporting.Strong familiarity with modern construction methods and sustainable technologies.Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.Rewards & benefitsExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.This includes:Tax-free salary.Comprehensive life insurance coverage.Premium medical insurance for you and your dependents.Generous annual leave balance.Flexible and hybrid work solutions.Remote work opportunities outside of country.Company gratuity scheme.Discretionary bonus program.Annual flight contribution.Relocation assistance.Transportation & housing allowances (available for remote work locations)Employee Wellbeing Program: 24/7 access to specialists in finance, legal matters, family care, personal health, fitness, and nutrition.Seize every opportunity to sharpen your skills, expand your expertise, and be recognized for the impact you make.About AtkinsRéalisWe're AtkinsRéalis, a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization.
