Job SummaryThis is an on-site role for a Telephone Operator responsible for managing the corporate switchboard and providing front-desk services. The operator ensures all telephone and reception services are prompt, courteous, and efficient, projecting a professional image and supporting seamless communication.Key ResponsibilitiesCall Handling: Manage a high volume of incoming calls, ensuring timely and accurate routing. Assist employees with local and international calls and maintain up-to-date staff directories.Technical Operations: Monitor and operate the telephony systems (Imagicle console, Cisco, PABX), report technical issues, and reconcile call records with invoices.Administrative Duties: Provide professional reception coverage, greet visitors, and support departmental communication needs, including emergency announcements.Compliance: Handle messages with confidentiality and adhere to all operational, safety, and data-privacy guidelines.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Telephone Operator or Front Desk Executive in a large organization.Skills:Proficiency with telephony systems (Imagicle, Cisco, PABX) and MS Office.Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette; fluency in English is required (Arabic is an advantage).Strong customer-service mindset, professionalism under pressure, and multitasking ability.
