About the roleStep into the heart of Australian aviation as a Billings Officer at Sydney Airport, where your expertise will help keep one of the nation’s busiest transport hubs running smoothly. In this critical role, you’ll ensure our billing processes are accurate, timely, and watertight — directly protecting the airport’s revenue and supporting our commercial success. Working closely with Finance, IT, commercial teams, airlines, and data providers, you’ll be at the centre of the action, turning complex data into precise, reliable invoices that keep operations moving.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to Ensure billing accuracy by investigating variances, identifying data anomalies, and taking proactive corrective action. Proactively collect, manage, and transform large volumes of data into accurate, usable insights for billing purposes. Drive continuous improvement in billing processes in consultation with the Aerobilling Manager. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Finance, IT, commercial teams, and external partners. Improve and maintain the quality, integrity, and usability of data through close collaboration with airlines and data providers. Support month-end reconciliations and reporting to ensure timely, precise financial outcomes.
About you Tertiary qualifications in Commerce and 2+ years’ experience in billing, finance, or other revenue-focused roles. Strong attention to detail, high accuracy, and proven ability to manage large volumes of complex data. Solid understanding of revenue management and accounts receivable principles. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI is an advantage. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders. A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to continuous improvement and enhancing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
