The Northcott Neuroscience Laboratory headed by Professor Marina Kennerson at the ANZAC Research Institute is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to work on an externally funded collaborative project led by Dr Kishore Kumar (Neurology Department & Molecular Medicine Laboratory, Concord Hospital) who is investigating the genetic cause of inherited dystonias. The primary focus is to assist in biobanking, sample preparation, co-ordinating samples for long read sequencing for data collection and analysis.

Experience in molecular biology techniques, particularly DNA/RNA analysis. Experience in biopsy processing and tissue culture techniques.
