Job Description

Role PurposeThe Sales Support Manager EMEA plays a critical role in driving success and being responsible for overseeing and managing the sales operations of an organisation. The primary role is responsibility for the management, development and operation of the CRM system. The role is intended to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales department by implementing strategies, processes, and systems that support sales activities and drive revenue growth. Departmental responsibilities:

CRM, Bid Management / Tender Support, ESG, EMEA Customer Service, Business Reporting, Lighting DesignKey ResponsibilitiesControl, Develop and Optimize the company CRM system, ensuring compliance and utilization from the EMEA regional sales and support teams, technical support and performance of the tool and development of a future replacement CRM system in line with the company ERP Project strategySupport and management of the EMEA Bid Management process, ensuring resources are made available for Turnkey and large/complex projects and ensure no cost/margin leakage on projects, whilst introducing and coordinating the bid response process, developing and maintaining a knowledge base of ‘standard’ answers and templates, as well as identifying ways to improve the quality, consistency and efficiency of the bid response process.

Manage and Develop a robust and commercially competent EMEA Central Lighting Design team covering traditional lighting schemes as well as development of new areas such as Solar designs and Emergency compliant designsOwnership of the EMEA ESG strategy and implementation, working cross functionally to ensure accreditations such as Ecovadis are maintained and acceleratedResponsibility for all customer facing platform and regulatory requirements derived from fields within the DMS system e. g.

ENEC, ETIM, EPREL etcOwnership of the Customer Services processes and procedures across EMEA, ensuring best practice is managed, business systems are maintained and optimized across EMEA CS and future works are capturedManagement and support of BI reporting into the sales and wider business organizations. Management of the Administration of Hybris and AlfrescoPerson Specification and BackgroundExperience of development and management of CRM system – ForceManager, SalesForce, MicrosoftKnowledge of end to end Business processesInnovative and solutions drivenExperience of developing and implementing new ERP solutionsExperience in a customer facing role. Creative, resourceful and able to think independently. Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills.

European Language skills also highly desirableProficient in using BI and Microsoft Office Tools e. g. Birst, Excel, ERP/MRP systems to manage data highly desirable. Proven problem solving and analytical skills, high standard of numeracy. Strong business acumen and approaches or techniques necessary to achieve best in class.
