Syndication Associate

Role OverviewThe Syndication Associate supports the Syndication Manager in the execution and administration of syndicated loan deals. The role involves preparing credit memos, coordinating internal approvals, reviewing deal documentation, and ensuring timely settlement and compliance tracking. The Associate also assists in monitoring ongoing syndicate exposures and gathering market intelligence on active and upcoming transactions. This role provides hands-on exposure to syndicated deal processes and is ideal for someone developing expertise in credit documentation, financial analysis, and loan execution.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in evaluating and documenting syndicated loan opportunitiesDraft and maintain credit approval memos, financial summaries, and transaction filesSupport end-to-end execution, including approvals, documentation review, and closing coordinationMonitor repayment schedules, covenant compliance, and ongoing deal performanceLiaise with operations, credit, and counterpart banks to ensure accurate and timely deal settlementConduct market and peer deal research to support pipeline tracking and reportingQualifications & Experience2–4 years of experience in corporate lending, credit analysis, or loan operationsStrong analytical and documentation skills with attention to accuracy and timelinesFamiliarity with syndicated lending processes and interbank coordination preferredDegree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; professional qualifications (CFA, CIB) are a plusRegional market familiarity (UAE / GCC) is a strong advantageRegional exposure; fluency in English (Arabic an advantage)
