About This RoleJoin our Business Aviation Training Centre in Vienna (Schwechat) where you’ll be part of our global Business Aviation Training team.We have just opened the doors to our newest business aviation training centre in Vienna, Austria, come be part of the initial team setting up the operations. CAE will initially operate five state-of the-art Full Flight Simulators in Vienna, including the G550, PH100/300, Global 7500, and a Global 6000 Vision Full Flight Simulators for business jets from leading manufacturers. The new 8,000-square-metre facility will have space for expansion with a capacity for up to nine Full Flight Simulators and will be purpose-built to deliver the most advanced pilot training experience in Central Europe.Come grow with us, while we make Business Pilot Training more accessible in Central Europe!Role ExpectationsWe are in search for full time Instructors that are ready to take their existing experience as an aviation professional and transform their skills and knowledge into a world-class Synthetic Flight & Ground School Instructor and subject matter expert. In the Synthetic Flight & Ground School Instructor role, you will have the opportunity to lead clients through their training – all with the added benefit of spending less time traveling for work.Synthetic Flight & Ground School Instructors will work alongside our client partners, providing expert Synthetic Flight instruction. In addition, some classroom-based instruction will be required, and you will be responsible for the upkeep of accurate and concise trainee records. You will also get to work with top of the range equipment and the very latest aircraft technologies. Primary ResponsibilitiesAssuring the quality delivery of client training according to qualification including classroom systems and performance ground school and in-simulator pilot trainingMonitoring and assuring compliance to all authorizations and qualificationsStrive to increase Instructor qualifications, as required by the programConduct quality pre and post flight briefingsSuggest changes to curriculum and courseware materials to enhance the clients’ experienceAssist the Lead with duties, when requestedAssure all paperwork/electronic records are completed accurately and in a timely mannerOn occasions, you will be required to provide single clients with seat supportYou will be expected to deliver portions of initial and recurrent ground schoolAny other duties, as assigned by the Training ManagerIdeal Professional Pilot ProfileSynthetic Flight InstructorsHigh-performance aircraft and instructional experienceSkilled in mentoring and developing industry colleagues QualificationsEASA licence required. 1500 hours or more total multi-pilot time (please mention if you have 500hrs or more SP hours)Previous instructional experience ideal but not required - CFI, SFI or SFE Must read, speak, and converse in English at a high level A keen eye for detail in training delivery – you must be willing to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and requirementsAbility to tailor training sessions to the needs of a diverse customer baseBasic computer proficiency – Microsoft Office and other internet-based programs Flexibility to commit to a full-time work patternMust live in commutable distance to the Training Centre in Schwechat The right to live and work in Austria is desirablePrepared to spend a period of time outside of Austria to undertake initial type and SFI ratingsExcellent interpersonal skillsContinuously drives toward process improvement and customer/client satisfactionAbility to focus and work in a fast-paced 24/7 environmentReadily accepts change and adjusts accordinglyMaintains concentrated customer/client orientationWhat kind of person will succeed in this team?You'll be someone who thrives on mentoring and developing industry colleagues from diverse backgrounds and be passionate about delivering a high standard of training.
