For our client in Kaiseraugst/Switzerland we are looking for a: System Engineer/Administrator with the following details: The Perfect Candidate:The perfect candidate is an IT professional with essential experience in MES, PI, SCADA, and PCS system administration within a manufacturing environment, complemented by knowledge of Windows OS and Computerized System Validation. They must be a service-oriented team player, capable of supporting and enhancing infrastructure, resolving incidents, and participating in small projects. Ideally, this individual also possesses desirable GMP experience and has a relevant IT apprenticeship or advanced degree in the field.General Information:Start Date: 1.1.26Latest Possible Start Date: 1.02.2026Planned Duration of Employment: 1 yearExtension (for temporary contracts):Yes possible, assignment is basically planned for long term (based on performance)Workplace: KaiseraugstWorkload: 100%Travel: noTasks & Responsibilities:System-, application- and infrastructure administration in the manufacturing and packaging areaParticipate in small size projects and enhancements,Work together with local/global manufacturing/warehouse, suppliers and internal IT partnersCreate installation documentation based on existing templates and transfer knowledge to operating Teams onsite and remotelyCollaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and deliveryCoordinate resolution of incidents and fulfillment of service requests with multiple IT delivery partnersResolve or escalate problems for resolution when appropriateMaintain and develop process and technical knowledgeMust Haves:Relevant completed apprenticeship in IT area or equivalent and/or ideally an advanced degree in the IT or automation fieldKnowledge and experience in systems administration in the manufacturing area (e.g. MES, PI, SCADA, PCS)Knowledge and experience in Windows Server and Client operating systemsKnowledge and experience in Computerized System ValidationFluency German and English is a must (spoken and written)Good communication skillsService oriented attitude, being able to communicate with our customers, also in emergency situationsNice to Haves:GMP experience
