Job Title: System EngineerJob Location: Bursa and Gebze (Bilişim Vadisi)ABOUTAs Daiichi, we are 22 years old in automotive electronics as a Tier-1 supplier for global OEMs specialized in hardware, software, and mechanical development of line fit infotainment systems: multimedia radios with connectivity, shark antenna, wireless/USB chargers, speakers, AVAS and other electronic modules. By being a member of Doğan Holding Group of Companies, our Headquarter is in Istanbul and we operate R&D and technical centers, manufacturing sites, and customer support services in 7 countries: Turkey, Italy, USA, France, China, Uzbekistan (CIS) and India.Role Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our team, with a specialized focus on cockpit electronics like in-vehicle infotainment, instrument cluster, domain control unit, control module, etc., applications.As a System Engineer, you will get the unique opportunity to be a part of a cross-functional engineering team developing technologies and innovative product solutions across the automotive cockpit electronics sector.The System Engineer works closely with customers, supplier and R&D engineering disciplines, especially with the software, hardware and mechanical engineering team, and with the project management office and business development team.Role Responsibilities:Work with OEM customers to define their needs and features into specificationsDetermining system requirements considering relevant standards, norms and stakeholder requirements and alignment with the stakeholder on their requirementsAnalyzing, evaluating and clarifying stakeholder requirements together with the customer, supplier and internal specialists (hardware, software and mechanics and system testing)Manage requirements attributes, allocation, prioritization and categorization of requirementsDesigning and defining system functions according to customer requirements and/or system requirements considering aspects of functionality, non-functionality, quality, reliability/service life, functional safety ISO26262 as well as security by using modeling frameworks (SYSML, SYSMOD, ARCADIA, etc.)Designing the system architecture by considering the stakeholder and/or system requirements and providing the outcomes of logical view of the system (system elements and interfaces), activity diagrams, use cases and sequence diagrams from the structural and behavioral perspectiveDefining alternative solutions and trade-off analysis for optimum system architecture and evaluate alternatives with internal specialists (hardware, software and mechanics and system testing)Facilitate review of requirements and architecture with software, hardware and IV&V experts and follow-up of review issuesManage and support change/problem management (change and problem analysis)Support configuration management activities in the systems engineering domainFollow up on Automotive SPICE standards in the systems engineering domain (SYS.1, SYS.2, SYS.3, SWE.1)Providing technical guidance for product management to define product platforms and roadmapsSupporting new customer specific projects during the request for information or quotation phaseSupporting technical and/or critical design reviews for the development of the lifecycle and the new platformsRole Qualifications:Bachelor of Science (BS) and/or Master of Science (MS) Degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering (or related disciplines also acceptable)3+ years of relevant experience in automotive, defense, avionics, etc., industry in the field of system engineering domainExcellent writing and reading skills in EnglishExperience in automotive electronics systems considering requirement management, system architecture, interfaces specificationExperience in communication protocols using in the system, sub-system and vehicle like CAN, MOST, J1939, LIN, Flex-Ray, Ethernet, UDS, WiFi, USB, 4g/5g, Bluetooth, etc,Experience in model-based systems engineering and system modelling frameworks (SYSML, SYSMOD, ARCADIA, etc.)Experience in embedded systems, software and hardware for automotive ECUsExperience in software intense system development lifecycle and processes (V-Model, Automotive SPICE / ASPICE, CMMI)Experience in requirement management and defect management ALM tools (CodeBeamer, Polarion, DOORS, Jira, Bugzilla, etc.)Experience in using modelling tools (Enterprise Architect, Capella, Rhapsody, etc.)Experience in the design and evaluation of logical, physical and technical architectureAble to communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.Have a positive attitude, good oral and written communication skills, and able to work well in a team environmentExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and propose innovative solutions.Nice to Have:Strong background and practical experience in algorithm definition and hardware designExperience in the functional safety field (ISO26262) and automotive cyber security (ISO/SAE 21434)IREB, ASEP/CSEP, SysML Model User certificatesProficiency in C or C++Proficiency of embedded operating systems (FreeRTOS, Embedded Linux, Android etc.) and Linux environmentsKnowledge of agile development (XP, scrum, Kanban)Knowledge of automotive technologies like Android Auto/CarPlay/MirrorLink, FM/AM/DAB, Audio tuning, Navigation, Speech recognition, GUI, OTA, Autosar etc,Knowledge of MFI certification (iPod, CarPlay), ATS tool, Android Auto certification, FM/AM/DAB RF performance testing, Audio performance testing, Bluetooth RF-PHY, Bluetooth PTS (profiles), USB-IF certification, EMC tests.
