System Engineer

Contract / Freelance Opportunity - Sweden (multiple locations) - Hybrid working - Immediate startI am working with a longstanding client of mine that are looking for a Systems Engineer to support with an upgrade initiative for innovative Remote Tower System (RTS/RTC) platforms.If successful you will be supporting requirements engineering, system architecture analysis, change implementation, system validation and documentation. The work focuses on system-level engineering as a supporting role to their existing hardware and software development teams to ensure that functionality, interfaces, usability and system performance comply with operational, technical and regulatory requirements.You must have previous experience working with RTS/RTC systems and preferably some knowledge of ATC systems.Mandatory requirements:Swedish citizenship + ability to pass Security Vetting Level 2Fluent Swedish (spoken & written)3+ years hands-on RTC/RTS experience (architecture, functionality, HMI)Requirements engineering for real-time or safety-critical systemsSystem validation and operational testingTechnical documentation and system reviewAbility to work independently and lead a small work areaAdditional experience:Demonstrated understanding of RTC network architecture, including:VLAN segmentationRedundant routingStreaming video bandwidth constraintsCybersecurity zones and access controlPerformance monitoring of real-time data pathsPlease reach out for more details and a full job specification!Contract / Freelance Opportunity - Sweden (multiple locations) - Hybrid working - Immediate start
