System Engineer

The culture is collaborative, high-performing, and focused on continuous improvement.About the PositionWe’re looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support and improve the digital platforms used for manufacturing, packaging, and product serialization. You will play a key role in running daily operations, delivering new system capabilities, and ensuring the reliability of critical applications. This position offers autonomy, technical ownership, and the chance to directly impact the site’s performance.ResponsibilitiesSupport, maintain, and enhance the site’s manufacturing and packaging systems.Lead system upgrades, new functionalities, and lifecycle improvements.Analyze business needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.Work closely with operations, engineering, quality, and external vendors.Create and maintain system documentation and standards.Ensure systems operate in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.Support audits and inspections when needed.Provide guidance and training to team members.RequirementsDegree in IT, Engineering, Life Sciences, or similar field — or equivalent experience.6+ years experience with manufacturing or packaging systems in a regulated environment.Experience integrating production systems with other platforms (such as ERP or automation systems).Understanding of regulations for electronic records, data integrity, and system validation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.Fluent in English and willing to support on-call duties.PreferredExperience with manufacturing execution platforms, serialization systems, and data or automation tools.Background in pharmaceutical or biotech operations.Familiarity with structured support frameworks (e.g., ITIL).Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
