Join our TeamAbout This OpportunityThe Radio Unit Software System & Architecture team keeps the entire system solution together for all SW running on the radio. We drive the radio architecture for SW, we drive Technology studies, and we contribute to Solution teams and early phases in product and feature definition. We also engage during product development phase and contribute with Systemization of solutions.We strive to own the high-level architecture for all the SW running inside the Radio Unit. Control System has been a weak area in systemization, and we want to strengthen our competence in the area.You are joining a very highly skilled team with wide experience of mobile systems and with many opportunities for learning the system. The radio product is greatly increasing the feature level with open fronthaul and new service platforms. There will be many opportunities for learning and growth in the area of choice.What You Will Do Working with control systems including for example: OS, SW management, boot, reset, ASIC and HW control & configuration, security and network functions. Coordinating functions from HW level to management plane in control system functions. This includes: Contributing to the Radio Product development projects in Opportunity and System pre phase. Working with architecture descriptions and updates. Participating in Tech Area studies. Driving or contributing to pre-development activities. Representing RU SW in a radio solution team. Cooperating with other teams in BNEW to find solutions that benefit the radio.The Skills You Bring +5 years of experience developing SW for Radio access network or built-in-SW for radio products for mobile communication. Preferably specifically in the Control System/Platform/OS area. Knowledge of the RAN architecture and the ways of working.
