System Integration Engineer

Note: Your application not complete until done on Crayon.How you'll roleAs an IoT System & Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a suite of IoT edge devices, ensuring seamless operation and integration with internal systems. You'll oversee Windows System Desktop Management and collaborate with clients to design and implement effective processes. Your expertise in communication technologies and hardware design will enhance project capabilities and success.What you'll doConfigure, deploy, and maintain IoT edge devicesMonitor and troubleshoot IoT device connectivity, performance, and reliabilityEnsure secure and efficient operation of IoT devicesManage and support Windows system desktopsPerform regular updates, maintenance, and troubleshootingConduct meetings with clients to understand their needs and business processesDesign processes from initial client meetings to final drafts for developersCollaborate with developers to ensure systems are built according to specificationsImplement communication protocols including serial, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, BLE, and mesh networksUtilize GPS technology within maps and devices and implement location-based servicesTest and validate IoT, RFID EPC Gen2, and NFC systemsDevelop portals and device readers for mobility applicationsDocument test results and provide recommendations for improvementsWhat you'll needBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in managing IoT devices and Windows systemsStrong understanding of communication protocols (serial, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, BLE, mesh)Experience with GPS technology and mappingKnowledge of hardware design and evaluationFamiliarity with mobile device integration and barcode technologiesProficiency in app software design and user interface developmentExperience with label design softwareExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyNote: Your application not complete until done on Crayon.
